The Newport, Merivale’s expansive lifestyle destination set on the stunning shores of Pittwater, is celebrating its second summer with an exciting programme of free daily events and experiences for all ages.
The Newport’s ‘Endless Summer’ campaign officially kicked off yesterday, with the launch of a beautiful new collaboration between Chandon and Seafolly. The leading swimwear brand and Australia’s number one premium sparkling wine have come together to create the Limited Edition Chandon X Seafolly Summer Bottle, bringing the spirit of summer to life with two limited edition designs. The Chandon Brut NV features the ‘Palm Beach’ print, inspired by a stroll along a palm lined beach, while the Chandon Rosé NV’s Modern Love is a playful pink floral featuring the vibrant botanical blooms of a coastal garden. Both bottles will be available at The Newport for the special price of $48 (until 1 January), making them the ultimate summer accessory.
The Newport is also set to host a weekly programme of FREE experiences, launching in December including:
Monday: Cinema By The Sea
Every Monday night, locals can sit back and enjoy The Newport Summer Film Program, featuring a line-up of Hollywood classics and family favourites including The Italian Job, Dirty Dancing and Eddie the Eagle.

Merivale launched the first phase of its landmark redevelopment of The Newport in April 2016. This summer, it will open the highly anticipated second phase – a refined dining concept headed up by Executive Chef Jordan Toft and created by Merivale’s design team of Justin and Bettina Hemmes, Kelvin Ho of Akin Creative and Amanda Talbot.
Following its acquisition in August, Merivale will also open the refurbished beachside pub, The Collaroy in late summer. With a kitchen led by Toft, The Collaroy will be a vibrant beachside destination for the Northern Beaches community, catering to a broad range of tastes, budgets and occasions.
Further details on both venues, including opening dates, will be announced shortly.
