Merivale are delighted to announce the acquisition of The Queen Victoria Hotel in Enmore, marking Merivale's first foray into Sydney's eclectic Inner West.
With a new kitchen set to open in 2016 spearheaded by dynamic culinary trio Christopher Hogarth and Patrick Friesen of Manly's Papi Chulo, and former Mr.Wong dim sum expert, Eric Koh, this latest venue will introduce an innovative food concept to compliment the community's already diverse offering. Bringing extensive experience from several other Merivale venues including Mr. Wong, Ms.G’s and El Loco, the team of chefs are set to create a sensational menu of Asian influenced street food inspired by their travels in and around Hong Kong.
"The Queen Victoria Hotel is another fantastic addition to the Merivale group in what is undoubtedly our most exciting year yet" says Justin Hemmes, CEO of Merivale. "I am passionate about creating world-class venues designed specifically around the local community and look forward to becoming part of Sydney's thriving Inner West."
The front bar and bottle shop will continue to welcome locals, regulars and newcomers alike throughout the renovation period. We look forward to seeing you all at this much loved community locale.
