   Private Events Specialist - Katherine Marson

Katherine Marson is our in-house private event and all round party planner. Aside from having an unrivalled attention to detail, Katherine skillfully visualises her clients' events within the ideal Merivale venue and with 19 individually designed spaces to choose from, her creativity and party planning experience is key to fantastic event.

   Executive Chef - David O'Brien

As executive chef, David O’Brien oversees the menus and kitchens of Sydney’s premier bar and restaurant complex, ivy as well as the historic Establishment. David has a gift for seamlessly blending the classical and contemporary, producing intensely flavoured dishes with a nod to his British roots. Shunning the overtly fussy and the over-styled, David creates food that’s meant to be eaten and enjoyed, not just looked at. At Merivale, David contiinues to push the boundaries from types of cuisine we have on offer through to how it's served to our guests including the creation of the Merivale events 'lazy suzy' allowing a shared plates dining option to be done in a stylish way whilst being a talking point for your guests.

   Master Sommelier - Franck Moreau

Merivale's French-born, award-winning Master Sommelier, Franck Moreau, believes there is a wine to suit every occassion and works closely with the culinary team to ensure wine selections are perfectly paired with the chosen menus. In addition to winning the inaugural Best Sommelier Of Australia competition this year, Franck became the first Australian to join an elite worldwide group of 192 Master Sommeliers -the highest internationally recognised title for his profession.

   Visual Stylist - Sandy Grice

Leading an in-house Merivale visual styling team, Sandy Grice creates the spectacular ambience required for any successful event.
