Merivale Announces 37 Tasty Events for SIFF

Merivale is inviting Sydneysiders to indulge, once again, at a host of special events announced as part of this year’s Crave Sydney International Food Festival. Running throughout the month of October, Merivale will host a total of 37 food and wine events across 12 of its venues.
Merivale’s clever chefs have created an indulgent calendar of special events including Peter Doyle’s ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ dinner at three hatted est., Dan Hong’s ‘Dude Food Deg’ and ‘Abracadabra!’ lunch at Lotus, and Jeremy Strode’s ‘The Other Bits’ dinner at Bistrode CBD.
For more hands on gastronomes, Merivale will offer a tequila master class at El Loco, cocktail classes at Lotus, sushi class at sushi e, cooking class with Jeremy Strode and Sommelier, Franck Moreau, will host shiraz, pinot and Champagne events. Don’t want to get your hands dirty? Choose from film nights at The Beresford Hotel, wine and cheese tasting at Tank Stream Bar or a good ol’ pie and pale ale at a Merivale city pub.
Events kick off on Sunday 2nd October with ‘South American Stars’, a gala dinner in the ivy room showcasing the culinary talents of six international and four local chefs.
