MERIVALE ADDS THE BEACH PALACE HOTEL TO GROWING PORTFOLIO

Merivale has continued the expansion of its hospitality portfolio with the exciting addition of the Beach Palace Hotel in Coogee.

The historic property is a landmark addition to the group’s diverse range of restaurants, bars and event spaces across Sydney. It follows the recent acquisition of the ex Trump Tavern at 50 King Street in Sydney’s CBD and the Paddington Arms Hotel on Oxford Street.

Justin Hemmes, CEO of Merivale, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for Merivale. There are very few iconic beachside venues like this in Australia, both in terms of scale and location. I’m extremely passionate about this property and really excited about opening something special for the local community and Sydney. The Beach Palace has long been a landmark property in Coogee and we have great plans to bring it to life”.

The hotel is now closed for an initial refurbishment. Further details and plans for the site will be announced in due course.
