Christopher’s love and appreciation for the diversity and history of food led him to Mad Cow, a New York-style grill situated in the heart of ivy.

At one point on his career path through Sydney dining, Christopher Whitehead spent five years working with est.’s own legendary chef, Peter Doyle. Christopher is on a mission to create dishes that are produce driven, using the best local Australian seasonal ingredients. He says his flavoursome food and culinary delights begin with respecting his produce. His aim is to present the best steaks around, cooked to perfection with great service and an exceptional wine list.
