Get into the Spirit(s)!
No doubt you’ve got your beer and wine sorted, but if you’re looking to up the ante and give your guests a drink they’re sure to remember (well, for the first few glasses anyway), a couple of cocktails is the choice d’Christmas.
“So much effort goes into getting Christmas lunch just right, taking a little extra time mix a cocktail can have some spectacular results,” says Charlie Parker’s Sam Egerton.
“Anything citrusy, fresh, and in the case of Thyme to Frosé – frozen – will be a winner on a hot summer’s day.”
Thyme to Frosé
Combine in blender:
80 ml Andre Vatan Sancerre Rosé
10ml Rosemary Syrup
5ml Sugar Syrup
10ml White Peach Puree
15ml Pink Grapefruit Puree
One small scoop crushed ice
Blend for 15 seconds
Serve in a wine glass with a straw and a sprig of thyme
10ml sugar syrup
15ml lemon juice
30ml orange juice
Shake and strain into small wine glass
Top with 60ml prosecco
